Haptic Technology

 

There are multiple types of haptic feedback

• Vibrotactile
• Basic vibrations.
• Not effective at communicating specific things to users.
• Thermal
• Hot and cold surfaces
• Ultrasonic
• Makes a feeling of pressure on a certain part of a device.

While I think this could be useful and feasible, there wasn't enough information to make me confident.

If there was, I could imagine the device vibrating either towards or away from the danger zone (depending on user feedback).
