Testing feedback

I created a survey based on questions the team worked on creating and sent it out. We received sufficient feedback, some of the negative feedback was the lack of clarity or explanation when we tested the product. We did not inform them of the product functionality details and so we received questions as to what is the speaker for and what will it be warning. This was cleared upon the animation we used to help our testers view the physical final product.

Another feedback we received was that it was unclear why the design was a swirl, this also comes back to the fact that it was not explained what the meaning behind the design is and it’s cultural significance to New Zealand.

As for the device design and size, we received mixed feedbacks, a few  mentioned they would prefer a less minimalistic look while others said they’d like for the device to be small in size and sleek.

When asked if there are scenarios where the user think they might not feel comfortable wearing the device, a few mentioned their concern for water. That they would not feel too comfortable wearing it to the beach or if they will conduct any water activity even if the device is marketed as water proof.

These are the feedback we used to improve our device, the positive feedback assured us however that the device was over all happily welcomed and not complicated to understand once the explanation's towards the visual and audio alerts  is provided. The majority of testers liked the simple design and minimalistic look and felt more inclined to wearing the device as it is customisable as an accessory
